AusInd Bridge Foundation emerged during the Covid lockdowns of 2020. Our team in Australia led by Founder Patron Deepak Vinayak, OAM JP connected to Indian students and the youth to give them hope and inculcate resilience in them. He along with other members of SACLG addressed several online sessions for some Indian universities during July to September and there emerged the need of having a platform that can engage the young minds in both countries. Kamala Kanta Dash who worked with SACLG while he was in Melbourne was on boarded to become the National Coordinator. Prof Srinivas Subbarao, the then Dean of Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Sri Sri University, was the first one to agree to pilot a digital internship project where his MBA students would work to complement the Victoria Govt’s India Strategy.
